As a CMO, Karan leads the marketing organization and is responsible for building the brand, creating customer demand, global awareness, strategic events and communications for Razorpay.

Previously, he was working as a Head of Marketing with OnePlus, a fast-growing startup disrupting the smartphone industry. At OnePlus, he was responsible for developing and executing OnePlus’ marketing and communications strategy to support its business growth and brand awareness in India.

Prior to OnePlus, he was a Director at Flipkart, where he built Flipkart’s B2B business from ground-up to a multi-million dollar business.

Karan has been a founder & CEO of an internet startup in past. He speaks and blogs occasionally about marketing and industry trends. Earlier in 2016, Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) awarded him ‘Digital Marketer of the Year’ award.
